Digital Signage is the Future of POS Communication

The in-store revolution is already underway.

Now what the market needs is a powerful management tool that:

a) Can realize the virtually boundless possibilities of digital signage consistently and reliably

b) Satisfies the customers' high security and stability standards.

This management tool is VIDERO Signage.

It can provide individual solutions for companies large and small – from content control to screen arrangement.

VIDERO Signage is a rock-solid investment for any retailer:

It replaces old, sluggish systems at low cost (the "less paper" concept)
Versatile, attractive, highly efficient advertising at the POS is proven to boost sales
An attractive, modern look generates a snowball effect
Marketing managers and financial controllers have "hard facts"
    Installment plans speed up implementation
Rent out your screen space, time and access to outside advertisers.

VIDERO Signage is also attractive for advertisers – they can market this space themselves.

Once installed, the system can be rented out as advertising space. Joint marketing and sales campaigns can move in entirely new directions through ad space brokers or other offerings.

For example, a department store down the road from a football stadium could present sports items on its displays while fans are driving to and from the game. Or it could rent the space out to another advertiser. Train stations can promote breakfast specials in the morning, and recommend entertainment venues in the evening – a sporting event on Wednesdays, a blockbuster movie or a play on Saturdays.

VIDERO Signage lends itself to any size store. Even one screen unit – in a display panel, positioned in a mono- or multi-arrangement – is an eye-catcher no one will miss.

At the ultimate in-house stage, you have screen walls, shop guides and/or shelving head units, synchronized across all the stores, filled with content by the central advertising department or advertising supplier and supplemented with local content provided by the branch manager. You can even expand the network to include screens in public spaces.

And the only infrastructure you need is a power outlet and a network connection or GPRS, EDGE or UMTS link for transferring the data.

Market potential

The market potential can be determined up to 2010, based on the number of stores and the forecasted growth in sales floor space. In Germany, there are some 266,000 stores with an average area of 443 square meters per store. By 2010, total sales floor space is projected to increase from 118 million square meters in 2007 to 125 million square meters in 2010. (Source: HDE, HGZ93, Metro, HDE forecast)

The market potential covers every imaginable size of store at every imaginable location.
